What caught my attention in this product, is the look and features it offers. Small enough to being hardly noticed yet packed with the latest and greatest technology. This camera is well made, waterproof, has day/night vision and uses high definition network. The Wi-Fi connection is easy and convenient, the picture quality is good and tracking works seamlessly. The only weakness in this camera is power source. You need to have an outlet nearby, but it was not a big deal for me.

For me, it was a right choice of price, quality and performance. It’s not overwhelming, just enough to see what’s going at my front door. I would highly recommend it.

Great camera for the money,
Setting up the camera is a breeze just plug it in and follow the prompts, video quality is great in the daytime. The night vision is OK The tracking feature works perfect following an human I really like the software for the computer that works really well. The only downside to this camera is the power supply so if you don’t have a outlet nearby where you want to put the camera you’re not gonna be able to plus my camera did not come with any mounting hardware which was no big deal for me, but others may be disappointed by that.

Reliable Surveillance with Impressive Night Vision, motion detection a bit too sensitive at times

I have this camera setup to monitor my living room for when my children wake up in the morning. It offers impressive features for home security needs for its price point. Its night vision performance is above average, providing clear visuals even in low-light conditions. The camera maintains good picture quality during night vision mode, ensuring reliable monitoring round the clock.

Its compatibility with RTSP and ONVIF was a big selling point for me. It took a while for me to realize to enable this you need to have the camera set up with the app first, and then you need to go in to settings->device settings and turn on the plain text password. You can then log in to the camera with the username: admin and the plain text password you set. You can then use its ip address address as follows: rtsp://admin:<plaintextpassword>@<cameraip>:10554/tcp/av0_0 and av0_1 where av0_0 is high quality for recording and av0_1 is low quality for custom detection with your security system.

The 5GHz WiFi connectivity ensures a stable connection and I never experience a drop in connection where with other cameras that i have had, with a higher price point would drop constantly.

There were occasional motion detection issues where the camera ended up facing the wall. This was easy to fix with preset viewing angles. Despite this one negative, it remains a solid choice for those prioritizing quality, reliability, and enhanced security in their surveillance setup, and i would highly recommend buying it

The video quality is good. That’s about all I can say good about this camera.
The thing has a very sloppy feel to it. Even when powered up it’s super easy to move it 20 degrees without even feeling the motion system trying to resist.
Using it with the app took over 5 seconds when I was moving it with the controls. That part was absolute garbage.
Then I finally decided to set it to a certain spot and leave it there as a stationary camera forever so I moved it by hand.
The way it mounts is 2 screws designed for a horizontal surface. It only has 90 degrees up or down if you mount it to a vertical surface with the screws vertically aligned.
The instructions for RTSP are garbage as well. I use BlueIris and it’s usually easy for cheap cams, and this one IS easy but the instructions don’t tell you, nor is it available (easily) on the internet.
So, all in all, for the price point I’m giving it 3 stars but only because the video quality is OK. I can’t give it 2.5

This is a really nice camera for the price. The picture is super sharp and the ptz works smoothly. The wifi range is really impressive. I’m using this in a surveillance application where I’m powering this with rechargeable batteries and power supply and I’m connecting with a good wifi signal at over 300 feet. The alarm functions work very well. The questions I’ve had about the O-KAM Pro app has gotten quick and friendly attention with customer support. I will probably buy more of these cameras.
