I love this product. I had tried another that was less expensive, not that this one was expensive, but I didn’t realize when I purchased it, it wouldn’t connect to 5g Wi-Fi. So with this one I made sure. This little thing is fantastic. It works very well, has great camera quality considering the price. Yes, they want you to purchase a subscription, but no pressure. I don’t need that as I’m using it as a dog camera and only need the live feed. I would highly recommend.

I had a Wyze camera in my she shed, which does not work on 5G so I had to search for an alternative. And it really does what I need it to do which is just monitor dogs I take home from the shelter for a few nights. The ability to pan around the room is essential because the Wyze camera had much more of a wide angle lens and this does not so I cannot capture quite as much square footage, but again it is very adequate. You still have two-way communication. And I do not need the ability to save to the cloud or have continuous recording, so I cannot attest to those functions. Very happy with this camera especially within the price point.

Ok. So the camera works technically. I just don’t appreciate how they lock you out of the SD card and put a subscription banner over every clip. I have looked and looked everywhere and not one single time do the ever even tell you how much the cloud subscription costs. So to be able to even go back to footage you have to blindly agree to pay pretty much whatever they choose. I’ve even tried to take the SD card and put it in my PC but my PC doesn’t even recognize it now. So it only works in the camera now. Can’t even format it to use in another device anymore. Also I’m constantly getting bombarded by texts saying motion detected when there’s nothing at all outside. But it doesn’t even detect motion when I go in and out or receive Amazon packages. So basically the only way it works is if I’m on the app watching in real time but can’t use the footage of it unless I pay some top secret amount for their cloud service. Right now I just have it outside so that it looks like I have security cameras. Doesn’t serve much more purpose than that.

Over $120 a year for Cloud Service? Ridiculous!

1) Son bought 3 for me as a gift. He gave them to me past the return date otherwise they would be going right back!!! $120 a yr to get to replay video and other features. That’s ridiculous!
2) also says it works with Alexa. It does not.
3) can not turn night vision off. So if it’s close to a window you only see led light reflection.
My son feels bad he bought these.
Do some research and buy a different one!

Daytime part of this camera is playing but if you want to use it at night time forget it the images terrible very hard to make out what you’re looking at will not buy it again because I like to use it at night.
