I purchased 4 of these cameras, with solar panels for each back in October 2021.
As of January 2022, 3 still work, but 1 will no longer hold a charge and has become completely useless. It was just outside the return policy time frame so it’s highly disappointing…
That being said, there are a lot of pros to these cameras and some cons. allow me to list them regarding the remaining cameras that do still work:

PROS:
— Cost for the camera is very affordable, and the setup is EASY.

–The picture quality is EXCELLENT. Clean, Crisp, and crystal clear both day and night.

–Sound quality is better than expected for the two-way mic/ intercom feature.

–The app is very simple to use.

–The pricing for the extra features is incredible and has a much better value than similar security cameras. A year of service is well worth the $30 for the zone setting and extra space.

— Each camera comes with 2 ways to secure them. One is a screw-on with a tension bracket, and the other is a screw-on magnetic one. The tension bracket is most reliable outdoors. It screws into both the wall AND the camera so it’s difficult to remove by an intruder, but is restricting on the angles it can be set at. The magnetic one is STRONG. Strong enough to withstand heavy winds, but I am wary to use it outdoors since it can be easily disconnected by a person giving it a good yank.

CONS:
— The battery life is not as long as advertised. The first charge (with no solar panels) did not last even a month during winter, and WITH the solar pannels only BARELY kept them with enough power to work through the night, and that’s IF it was a sunny day.
So far now that it’s spring, I have no issues with the solar panels. Even with some facing the East, they stay pretty close to fully charged all day. But winter is rough.

— There is no update or reconnect ability through the app. It will notify you of an update or need to reconnect and give you the option to start the process, but it will still require you to physically go up to the camera to actually run the update or reconnect the camera by pressing the power button.

— The sensors are fickle. Either it will detect EVERYTHING that even so much as sneezes in the vicinity of the camera view, OR, won’t notice it until it’s right up in the camera’s face (so to speak).
This can be rectified by having another camera and narrowing the detection zone for each one to a smaller area, but this means more cost to the buyer…

— The recording does not always kick in quickly enough to catch an incident. I would say the rate is about 70/30 for good catch/ miss. There have been many times someone has walked into my detection zone but the recording feature did not start until they were leaving, thus missing all the key evidence of criminal or suspicious activity.

DEDUCTION:
I will buy this product again pending further use.
The cameras are worth the cost overall for smaller properties, porch, garage, or indoor use.
As for wider viewing outdoor use, they are good as long as you can purchase solar panels to go with them or hardwire power to them, and as long as you can buy enough cameras to fully cover all areas with enough overlap that you don’t miss anything.
If you can’t, I’d recommend something more dependable or 24/7 record cameras.

Got this product-camera for home use elderly woman who my mom takes care of she lives behind us and this has been so wonderful also used outside at storage facility as property manager and they work great for that as well. I have 6 of these now around my home. They are easy to set up on WiFi and I really like the magnetic mounts, making them simple to take down and charge. The charge lasts for a long time too. I have 1 hooked up to the available solar panel and it hardly ever needs charging. (I have a lot of shade so only 1 location will allow this.)

The build is nice and has a nice magnetic wall mount. would be nice if it also had a mounting point on the bottom of the camera. I wanted to use this for a pet monitor/scram device to keep my dog off my sofa but it won’t work for that for the following reasons.

1 – “Siren Alarm” this is not a siren but uses the built in speaker to play the sound of a siren which at max level sounds like an alarm going off in your neighbors house. That’s when you are right in front of the camera. If you are in another room the siren will not be heard. My dog barely pays it any mind. A 90 decibel siren would have been appropriate for claiming such a feature other wise saying you have a “siren alarm” just makes the buyer feel ripped off. This is why I bought the camera in the first place and is why you are getting the bad review SMH.

2 – “Detection Zone” In order to use the feature of the camera to properly map out the area motion is to be detected you need to pay for a subscription. WHY? This is not a cloud based service it is built into the device and should be free like with any other security camera. Bundling it with remote storage and other cloud features is just wrong. $3 a month so the camera detects motion only were it should is not worth a commitment after already paying $80. Very disappointed in this company’s attempt to charge a subscription for a basic of a security camera.

3 – Doesn’t have a way to set a schedule for the motion detection either so if you use this camera in your home like it’s setup use cases you will either have to settle for notifications every 10sec or manually turn the feature on and off. Another option is to pay the $3 a month and hope that their “intelligent notification” feature resolves this for you.

Conclusion:
I think the price for the basic level subscription is worth the $3 if you want extended cloud storage, but you shouldn’t have to pay a thing for regular camera functionality, especially if the camera cost $80. I will be looking for another option that offers proper motion detection for just the price of the camera. Doesn’t have a siren alarm as it claims.

[UPDATE 11/16/2021]
I decided to keep the camera because after testing with my dog at night it did frighten him off the sofa. Seems like the flashing light and subtle alarm did the trick when it happens in the dead of night. I also paid for the service for a couple of months to see how that worked and this is my findings. This does not solve for the constant notifications. You get all notifications it just tells you in the notification if it is a person, animal or car… useless unless you could specify which types you want to receive alerts for. Setting detection zones works as you would expect. Still need to turn on and off manually daily because there are no smart alerts or scheduling options.

nowhere in the instructions does it tell you how to mark off a vehicle (mine) as a known vehicle. Weeks of ticket raising with support in China and we finally got there. the subscriptions are ok for entry level, then you can add features. You can also save locally to SD card. The camera will need to be charged roughly 3 months. takes 4 – 8 hrs to charge (so you have to physically remove it from however you’ve fixed it to the wall (in my case magnetic plate). you can also adjust sensitivity, you can mark a vehicle as known but it’ll need a few weeks to get to recognise the vehicle you want to mark as known, you can include / exclude animals, parcel delivery. crop the activity zone . Good camera with good features if you hang in there,
