2. Need 5″ clearance from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding) for barn door kit to fit correctly.
3. Fit for door panel thickness: 1-3/16″ to 2″.
4. Barn door hardware can hold door weight 330lbs/150kg.
5. The gap between door and wall is equal to 2-3/16″ minus door thickness.
6. Barn door rail can be cut to any length. We recommend using an angle grinder to cut the rail.
To help you to choose sliding door hardware kit, we recommend the rail length should be twice of the door’s width at least, and you can also cut the track into any length to meet your need.
