I’m pretty new to collecting trading cards so this was my first purchase of penny sleeves. I like to buy my cards as singles and they’ve mostly all come with penny sleeves already, but I’m about to start buying complete sets and so I figured I’d need to buy some sleeves. And I’m glad I found these! Since Ultra Pro is basically the standard in the card collecting world, of course I knew about them and I fully assume that they are the sleeves most of my single cards have come with, and I didn’t really like them very much. They get creases and indents pretty easily and generally don’t feel very high quality, I found my self wanting better ones.

And these certainly delivered, and at a better deal as well! These sleeves are very nice quality, the clarity is excellent, and they even seem a tiny bit thicker which is great for protection purposes. They’re easy to “open” to get the cards in and as someone who loves to reorganize my cards a lot they have been holding up to use very well.

Overall I think I’ve found my brand for penny sleeves going forward, though I think it’ll take me awhile to get through this thousand pack. Would recommend!

My son’s pokemon cards were starting to get a slight bend while in the thin cheaper sleeves so we ordered these and they are perfect!! It’s pretty strong plastic and will keep them protected way more than the really thin ones. Great price also. If that doesn’t change I’ll be ordering more soon!

Gave these a shot for the first time. $8.99 for 50 top loaders is a good deal, especially if they are top quality. And I must say, these exceeded my expectations! Great quality control…every case was consistently clear with zero issues. They are sturdy enough and have clean/smooth exterior finish. No sharp, plastic threads on the sides like some cases.
I used these for football, basketball, and baseball 35 pt cards. I highly recommend, even over Ultra Pro top loaders. Just ordered another pack of 50! They are truly “bang for your buck”!

These are pvc free which is what I was looking for. But when I got them they felt much softer in the middle than normal top loaders. The edges are harder it’s just the middle part where the cards are. I haven’t had any issues with these and actually like them. But If you’re looking for something a little more protective than I would stick to normal pvc top loaders.

Perfect size, great clarity, nice glossy feel. Makes rifling through a stack a really ‘slippery’ experience but gives me absolute confidence that I’m not scuffing up the sleeves. Other sleeves I’ve used were not smooth like these and quickly became cloudy from scuffing when sorting through the cards.

Might not be what you want to use if you’re playing with a game deck unless you have a very level table and a rubber playmat, because they WILL slide around if you stack them or lay them down quickly…but for collectors and storage (especially if you enjoy looking at your collection a lot), they’re superb.
