Awesome POE Camera: The best Surveillance camera

This is a great poe camera that surprised me.
1. It have a metal body, not a plastic one.
2.Installation couldn’t be easier, these are POE cameras which means if you are feeding them with a Power Over Ethernet switch or NVR appliance then you don’t need an external power supply. The body of the camera can be installed without taking apart the whole assembly, just remove the trim collar and you mount it with three screws (supplied), put the collar back on and you are done.
3. i was very impressed. I use a product from other brand as my nvr. This camera is a plug and play with my nvr. Very important that you go via the web browser and change pwd from default and turn on authentication for RSTP and onvif. Also recommend you turn off stuff you dont need. The camera works and the browser interface to configure it is great well done.
4. The night vision picture is very clear. The motion detection is extremely responsive depending the sensitivity you set. What impressed me the most is clean and clear picture. Besides that, it supports color night vision, you can set different night vision mode and the resolution as you need in the night. I love the smart color night vision, it will automatically change to color night vision when it captures person.
5. Great sound quality. The sound in the video is very clear, it‘s amaing. In addition, the camera has a speaker, I can talk to people who is in the front of this camera.

Good camera with good features for a great price. If you are a DIY person like me and use opensource NVR software, this is a great buy. Easy integration, good clarity in bright or dark, and decent sound.
I only did the basic stuff like downloading the Danale app and viewing the video output through my smartphone since I was going to set it up on a NVR server. I was interested in the following features and will try to find some spare time to check out the Intelligent Detect settings, especially for motion with people detection versus auto, motorcycle, etc. Again, my software detects motion – I even hid it in my home office to see who kept coming in to steal my phone charger! Video shows the camera picking up the culprit – my kiddo!
I don’t have PoE running throughout my house so I tested several methods of powering the camera. There is NO 12v power adapter included, but I have plenty of my own which powered the camera fine. I do have a PoE bench switch and it worked just as well. I also used a PoE injector with no problems. All things you would expect but you never know.

I really like this camera. This camera has a couple of LED lights on them which is why I choose it for the side of the house where people seldom walk. As you can see in the video, once it detects a person it illuminates the area. Note: The red subject outline appearing in the video is a result of the software I use and not the camera itself.
The camera provides good clarity in daylight and sufficient clarity at night. Mounting is very easy, and adjusting the camera is even easier. WARNING: The screws are very brittle. I mounted my cameras on pressboard, pre-drilling the hole first, but these screws immediately broke off.
The RTPS capable & H264/5/5+ capable, lights, clarity, easy to mount and adjust all make for an overall nice camera.
