we have an EGO leaf blower with a battery that quit charging. It had lasted several years with heavy use so we bought another one, wondering if the problem was the charger, but nope, it was the battery – it wouldn’t take a charge. So we purchased this battery and it works great, charges right up, and we can either have two of us blowing leaves now, or one doesn’t have to stop when the battery runs low, just switch it out and keep going. By the time the new one runs down, the other one is charged up. It wasn’t a huge savings over the EGO battery but every bit helps these days.

I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. This battery literally lasted 3 charges with each one getting worse. IMO all Ego power tools have failed all expectations. I hardly ever use them and when I need them they are complete failures. On the other hand all of the Stihl products I have purchased have beyond exceeded my expectations.
