Bought this for a week long kayak trip I took this summer. My phone does not hold a charge very well so I wanted something that could keep me charged up all week, as I use my phone for taking pictures. I liked it because it isn’t too big, and it was able to be charged by solar power for the trip. It did keep my phone charged the whole trip, even after it got submerged for over 15 minutes when I flipped and ended up in the river. It was in my rain jacket pocket, which filled with water before I could get pulled out. The solar power charging doesn’t seem to work now, but it still takes a charge via cord, and still holds the charge and charges my items, even several at a time, very quickly. I am currently using it in Cape Town, SA, I love it!!!

The only downside is that I have not been able to get it to charge outdoors, or it charges so slowly it isn’t noticeable.
With that out of the way I have 2 and swap charging them. These are awesome to charge up my phone w/o having to plug my phone into the wall. I can hook a couple different things into the charger to recharge at the same time.
I Can throw it in my purse and charge my phone.
I have flashlights, a small blender, my grandchildren’s laptops (it’s not uncommon for them to forget to bring their charger).
They can sit on the couch and play while plugged into this charger. There just seems to be no end to the uses for this power bank.

I purchased this as an extra charger to take on a 17 hour plane flight from California, US, to Singapore. I ended up losing my original charger before even boarding the plane. I have not used the solar option, I charged it with a wall plug. But I did know we would be places where I might need solar power. Thankfully the device lasts so long I made it back to my hotel each night with power still left on the bank. The charger on at my daughters airline flight was broken and did not connect. I ended up using this block to charge my phone from 10%, an iPad that was dead, my daughters iPhone, and a friends Samsung. The cords are built in which is great! Even after fully charging all of those devices it still had power to charge my phone on the shuttle to the hotel. I included a photo to show how flat the cords fit. The block is on the heavier side, but a small price to pay for the number of times it can charge my phone. I also used this to charge my daughters white noise machine. It is older and uses a different plug. It is easy to use any standard plug with this device as it has a standard port on the end. I rarely write reviews but I had a hard time deciding on which charger to buy so I wanted to share my experience with others. Great purchase.
