I was very underwhelmed by this product, which stinks b/c I was so looking forward to being able to utilize it on a daily basis.
I just started my weight loss journey about two months ago, and I waited a month to purchase something like this, just in case I decided to be lazy again. I read the reviews and saw the price tag, and it all made sense.
Mind you, I have not used this product in five days. And I have not even had it for a month at this point; that’s how many recurrent issues there were until I finally decided it wasn’t a reliable product. I was at the gym when I got on Amazon to start my return process.
First mess-up: I was halfway through work when I looked down and realized that my steps had been knocked down to <1,000 from 4,000+. This was within the first week, so I thought perhaps it was user error and maybe I did something funky on the app.
#2: Week 2, it happens again; this time I know it couldn’t have been my fault because I hadn’t even done anything on the app.
#4: Finally, a couple days after the second instance, the step counter malfunction happened again. ADDITIONALLY (and this is what annoyed me the most) it was wildly inaccurate on my HR. I have an abnormally high resting heart rate as it is, leveling at about 95-105. At the time this happened, I was halfway through an intensive cardio workout and at about 170 BMP. I look down, and this dumb thing says my HR is 74 bpm?? Like, almost a 100 bpm margin of error?? I twisted it around my wrist to see if the inside was any better; not for a while. It slowly caught up eventually, but it happened again the next day, and it 100% is not worth it.
The main reason I purchased this product was to receive a more accurate estimate of kcals burned. And if it can’t read my heartrate and doesn’t accurately track my days, it is useless to me. Like…that’s it’s #1 job…how could it stink so bad at it…
