No Protective Flap or Closure

The whole reason I wanted these was to protect our tickets. I have had dozens of these in the past and I’ve NEVER seen one without some sort of flap or ziplock type closure. These are usleless unless you just want them to catch the rain and spilled beer. Not happy.

THESE WERE DELIVERED FAST. WE DROPPED ONE OF THESE AT A NASCAR EVENT AT WATKINS GLEN. WE DROPPED THIS WITH TICKETS IN IT AT NIGHT IN A HIGH TRAFFIC AREA…20 FEET FROM THE PORT-A-JOHNS. WE DID NOT DISCOVER THAT WE HAD LOST THEM FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS (NEITHER DID ANYONE ELSE LUCKILY). THE POINT OF THIS WHOLE STORY IS THAT WE DID FIND IT, IT HAD BEEN WALKED OVER REPEATEDLY, IT DID HAVE BUMPS AND PITS IN IT FROM THE GRAVEL UNDER THEM, BUT IT DID NOT HAVE ANY PUNCTURES THROUGH IT. AMAZING HUH?!?! IT HAS 2 CLIPS ON THE LANYARD SO IT HANGS WELL, AND IS PRETTY SECURE. I WOULD BUY MORE EXCEPT THIS WAS A 5 PACK, SO AT PRESENT I HAVE SOME TO SPARE. I CANNOT ATTEST TO BEING WATERPROOF SINCE THE ONLY RAINSTORM FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND LASTED 10 MINUTES AND WE WEREN’T CAUGHT IN IT. JUST THROWING THIS IN FOR INFO SINCE I DO NOT BELIEVE WATERPROOFNESS WAS NOT ADVERTISED.

Perfect size for a 4×6 pass

My pass measured exactly 4” wide and 6” tall, so I needed a holder with an insert that was at least that big. This badge holder was perfect. My pass slid right in and lay flat, with about 1 cm to spare on each side, and about 2” of space remaining at the top. Plastic is good quality, light-medium thickness. The neck strap is the right length for me – not too long or too short – just long enough for my pass to hang right below my sternum when I’m standing. It would have been nice to have some sort of closure, like a ziplock, for added security, but it’s not a huge concern. With my large pass and smaller tickets inside the holder, I turned the thing upside down and shook it hard, and nothing fell out. I’m happy with that.
